Introduction

I'm glad that some of us were able to get together this morning! I trust that this will be fun and rewarding for all of us.

You may want to start by reading the Introduction in our book which starts on page 3. Also note that if you want to skip some of the materials, you can do pretty well just by reading the excerpts in the margin.

Prayer Journal: Week 1 Day 1 = Monday 13 February

The Lord be with you! We will figure this out how we go. For now, I'm planning for us to have a daily blog post like this one where we can find the Bible passage and share some of our prayer concerns together.
We are starting with the Prayer Journal on Monday, February 13.
You can find an introduction to the prayer journal on page 115 of the book. The daily meditations start on page 120.

Just a few things before we get started...

• I am the administrator for this site, but each of you is an author. I will be responsible for the weekly headings. Each of you can respond, but you can also start your own posts.
• I have added a feature that makes it possible to jump directly to Bible verses. Whenever you write a Bible passage, a link for it should automatically be created. E.g., one of my favorite passages is Mark 6:34.
• We will have a weekly entry related to the chapter of the book we are reading.
• We will also have a daily entry related to our Prayer Journal.
